Welcome to Alberta Dancesport!…Calgary’s best place to dance!

Welcome to the world of dance! Whether you are inspired to take your first class, or are an advanced dancer looking to improve your skills, Alberta Dancesport is the place for you!

At Alberta Dancesport we have a drop in beginner dance class and party every Friday! Join us at our Friday Workshop and Party every week!

Our instructors are all Professional Instructors! - They are among the best in Canada. Almost all of them have represented Canada at a World Championship Dance event, and have been featured on television and film!

You can try the first class of any session for FREE!

All social classes require no partner and no pre-registration.

We have classes from Beginner Level to Competitive Level.

Most courses are only $70 for 6 weeks - $60 for students!

Salsa Level 3 will run Friday June 8-29 7:00pm 4 weeks $50

Saturday courses

Beginner Argentine Tango will run Saturdays June 9-June 30 12pm 4 weeks $60
Intermediate Argentine Tango, will run Saturdays June 9-June 30 1pm 4 weeks $60
Latino Intermediate will run Saturdays June 9-June 30 2pm 4 weeks $50
Ballroom Intermediate will run Saturdays June 9-June 30 3:30pm 4 weeks $50

Sunday courses

Reggaeton Sundays June 3-24 12pm 4 weeks $55
Latino Beginner will run Sundays June 3-24 1pm 4 weeks $50
Ballroom Beginner will run Sundays June 3-24 2:30pm 4 weeks $50

Friday Night Workshops and Dance Parties

Please join us every Friday night at Vecova (formerly called VRRI) or weekend dancing in our huge air conditioned dance studio!

Every Friday night, Alberta Dancesport holds a dance party from 9:15 pm to midnight. The dance party is preceded with a workshop that begins promptly at 8:15 pm and is held at our VRRI location: 3304 – 33rd Street NW. (Across the street from the north side of the University of Calgary.)

ADVANCED DROP IN! Join Alberta Dancesport for 2 drop in classes! Our advanced drop in workshop series runs in our second room for advanced dancers. We ALWAYS have a beginner drop in, please check our schedule for weeks where there is only 1 beginner drop in class
